| standings, go to the MSPSP spring statistics page and choose U13 and level. | ||

| Final Fall 2000 MSPSP League record: 12-0-0 see results for details | ||
| Great goin' in your inaugural MSPSP season! You outscored your opponents | ||
| 68 to 5 in 12 regular season games in the fall 2000 season and moved up a level | ||
| in the Spring season. You also had two very good tournament outings against | ||
| some of the top premier teams in the Midwest. | ||
| Over half of all U-13 MSPSP teams were new this past fall, and of these teams | ||
| the three from the Kalamazoo-Grand Rapids area all finished undefeated and | ||
| swept first place in the Red, White, and Blue divisions. | ||
| CONGRATULATIONS on finishing the Best of the Midwest Tournament Sept | ||
| 16-17 in Naperville as semifinalist! GLS Premier was the only U-13 team that | ||
| did not give up a goal in its first three games. In the semis, GLS also shut down | ||
| the Pacesetters from Toledo OH during regulation and all but the last 50 seconds | ||
| of the second overtime period, before giving up the tying goal. In the ensuing | ||
| shootout, which went seven rounds, the Pacesetters prevailed. To finish in the | ||
| top four teams (out of 40 U-13 teams) at this tournament deserves a pat on the | ||
| back! In pool play, GLS had shutout victories over the highly regarded Busch | ||
| team from St Louis, Team Cincinnati Ambush, and the Naperville Lightning. | ||
| Congratulations to all players and coaches for an excellent start to the season | ||
| at the Troy Soccer City Classic Labor Day Weekend! Out of 20 U-13 teams, GLS | ||
| Premier finished second in the upper (Gold) division. The championship went to | ||
| Ohio FC Chelsea of Dublin OH, who in the finals avenged an earlier loss to GLS | ||
| Premier in pool play. GLS Premier also had 3-0 victories over TKO Kingdom and | ||
| 4-0 over Ann Arbor Arsenal. Great goin' on your first U-13 tourney as a team. | ||
